Welcome to Pedal Power

If you have a moment and can vote for Pedal Power's idea on the Pepsi Refresh site we would greatly appreciate it.

Pedal Power was at the Tour de Harrison this past Father's Day providing the electricity for the DJ. Photos can be found on our FaceBook page.

Pedal Power 2010 took place on March 20, 2010 at Endorphin Fitness and was a huge success. Thanks goes out to all the participants, sponsors and attendees. We generated approximately 3900 Watts of power!

That is enough energy to:

  • Power a typical desktop computer for approximately 26 hours.
  • Heat a traditional electric oven to 350 degrees for approximately One hour and 57 minutes.
    • You could run a toaster oven for almost 12 hours using the same amount of energy, use your toaster oven for small meals!
  • Power a standard refrigerator for about 50 hours.
  • Power a central AC system (2.5 tons) for about 66 minutes. Yikes, just 66 minutes!  That’s why it's so important to keep your AC at a comfortable, yet moderate temperature.
  • Power an electric clothes dryer for just 72 minutes. Consider air drying your clothes!
