Participants generated over 4000 watt-hours and were able to provide the power to cook their own lunch!

That is enough to power:

• A central AC system for 1.1 hours
• An oven, at 350°F, for two hours (using your toaster oven is a better option for small meals)
• An electric clothes dryer for 54 minutes (consider air drying your clothes)
• An entertainment system w/50″ Plasma TV for 6.8 hours
• Run your dishwasher, with dry cycle, for 48 minutes
• Run your dishwasher with NO dry cycle for 66 minutes (37% more efficient than with a dry cycle!)
• A standard desktop computer with 19” screen for 19 hours.
